Material
Giving our familiar textile an anti-odor property provides comfortability and safety to our human life. There are 2 types of anti-odor agent in NICCA Chemical. The first one is for mainly our clothes. It controls acetic acid or ammonium odor from sweat and body odor. The second one is for textile used for car seat or interior. As you may experience, brand new car has unpleasant odor which is generated by aldehydes. Aldehydes are known as Volatile Organic Compounds, VOC, which has bad effect on environment and human body. Reducing VOC can contribute not only to comfortability but also to our safety life.
(1) Physical odor elimination (2) Chemical odor elimination
There are "Physical odor elimination" and "Chemical odor elimination" in the anti-odor system. Physical odor elimination is a method in which porous particles catch odor components and suppress odors. Chemical odor elimination is a method by which reactive groups on the surface of nanoparticles catch odor components and turn them into odorless substances. Anti-odor process for textiles is treated by combining anti-odor agents with these functions according to the target odor.
