Growing demand for alternatives to PFC-free water repellents

Based on the "precautionary principle," which states that "if in doubt, stop using chemicals even if they are not 100% scientifically proven to be harmful," sports and apparel brands around the world are switching to fluorine-free alternatives.
It all started in the early 2000s, when there were concerns about the safety of fluorine compounds such as PFOS and PFOA. After the detox campaign in 2011 and the establishment of ZDHC, it is expected that regulations on fluorine compounds will become stricter in the future.

Toward the Realization of Carbon Neutrality

By using palm oil as a raw material and making approximately 70% of its composition bio-based, it contributes to reducing the burden on the environment.
We aim to achieve carbon neutrality by absorbing the CO2 generated during the processing of NEOSEED and the incineration of processed products.

NEOSEED NR-7080 features high water repellency and excellent peel strength, making it suitable for processing outdoor wear and uniforms.
It has also been proven to provide DWR comparable to C6 type water repellents.
