NICEPOLE PR-9080 is a moisture management agent for stretch fibers such as PBT and PTT. It has made it possible to impart excellent water absorption and quick drying properties to PBT and PTT fibers, which was considered difficult with conventional agents.
The mechanism of NICEPOLE PR-9080
By introducing a structure similar to PTT/PBT fibers to the main chain of PR-9080 polymer, the affinity with the fibers was improved and the washing durability was improved.

Even after washing, PR-9080 is sufficiently adsorbed on both PBT/PTT and PET, and it is possible to demonstrate water absorption and quick drying.

Properties of NICEPOLE PR-9080
NICEPOLE PR-9080 imparts excellent water absorption and quick drying property to PBT,PTT or its blends. It has also excellent washing durability thus it is suitable usage for durable washing merchandise.
Realization of durable quick drying
At the time of development, we set the acceptable line for water absorption and quick drying as "a residual moisture content of 10% or less after 60 minutes." With conventional water-absorbing and quick-drying agents, it was difficult to clear the line after washing, but NICEPOLE PR-9080 clears this line and demonstrates high washing durability.

In HL-0, both Conventional product and PR-9080 have cleared the acceptance line.
With HL-10, Conventional product could not clear the acceptance line. On the other hand, PR-9080 has a residual moisture content of less than 10% within 50 to 60 minutes, clearing the acceptance line.
